peebe and i are taking “shower baths” i.e. washing our hair & faces before we [pretend to] do some shopping and then get kath and the boys from the city. i’ve been home two and a half hours and all we’ve done is dance to christmas music and try to find decent picture of ourselves on our respective computers. complete fail for me, of course.

today when my mommy picked me up from work, she surprised me with a sephora gift card that she picked up while finishing her xmas shopping. she said it was to thank me for being there for her this weekend and cheering her up (she had a pretty shit weekend/felt terrible about her birthday). it was really sweet of her, especially because i wasn’t expecting it at all. i love my mommy <3

just talked to some dude at my brother’s bike co-op in the city for like ten minutes so that i could get him a gift certificate, and at the end the guy on the phone thanked me for calling and being so cool. he was really chill and had a soothing voice, but it was also kind of weird because he had a really similar speech pattern to my brother.
